Six new locomotives for the Simandou project have been delivered and are now operating on the tracks of Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG). One of them bears the name of Baba Hady Thiam, together with that of the locality of Sogoboli. Alongside other individuals who contributed to the project, Baba Hady Thiam, founder of Thiam & Associés, has thereby received recognition for his contribution to this landmark project by the Guinean State.
A major mining and infrastructure project for the Republic of Guinea, Simandou is currently reaching decisive milestones, overseen by the Simandou Strategic Committee.
This recognition honours Baba Hady Thiam’s commitment to the country’s major transformational projects and illustrates the firm’s role in advising on mining and infrastructure transactions in Guinea.
