Moussa Keita is as a legal advisor at Thiam & Associés, providing legal counsel and litigation services.
Moussa Keita counsels Guinean, African and international groups in M&A and private equity transactions, as well as projects & project financing notably in the energy, mining & infrastructure sectors. He also advises on labor issues and environmental law in the Republic of Guinea.
After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree (graduating valedictorian) and a Master’s degree in Business Law, Moussa Keita was a lecturer in general commercial law, corporate law, insolvency and securities law prior to joining Thiam & Associés in August 2017.
Moussa Keita has extensive experience in corporate law and proceedings and advises international investors (including Chalco Guinea, SMFG, Proparco, TBEA, Brahms, etc.) in their financing, investment and acquisition transactions.
Moussa Keita is the President of the Commission in charge of capacity building, studies, research, documentation and membership of the NGO “Collectif des Amis de l’OHADA de Guinée” (since 2017).

My encounters with a few of the leading business lawyers in Guinea inspired my love of business law because of their expertise and capacity to solve business issues. I decided at the end of my studies to pursue a degree in business law at the university and to take the bar exam to become one of the leading business lawyers in Guinea. I am very proud of the fact that I am on the verge of achieving this goal.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE
Outside of the office, exercising daily is a great way for me to maintain and improve my physical health. I sometimes visit other cities or regions of Guinea to learn more about my country and to contemplate its beautiful landscapes.
