Deals / Republic of Guinea: Thiam & Associés is pleased to have advised Société des Mines de Fer de Guinée (SMFG), a subsidiary of High Power Exploration (Ivanhoe Group), on the legal aspects of the pre-feasibility study of the Nimba iron ore project in the Republic of Guinea (PFS 2021), the successful outcome of which was announced today. The study validates the viability of exploiting the high grade Nimba iron ore deposit. The feasibility study is expected to be completed in early 2023.
