Thiam & Associ\u00e9s announces the publication of the 4th edition of the Investor’s Guide to the Republic of Guinea, a reference document intended for economic actors wishing to establish and secure their investments in Guinea. In a context of economic transformation and accelerated structural reforms, this edition provides essential information to support investment decisions.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Investor’s Guide provides a detailed overview of the country’s legal and economic environment. It is structured around the following axes:<\/p>\n

The economic framework – Guinea has growth <\/span>dynamic with an estimated nominal GDP of USD 25 billion in 2024 and <\/span>inflation controlled at 8.1%. The mining sector remains a driving force <\/span>key to the economy, alongside agriculture and infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Growth sectors – The guide highlights opportunities <\/span>investment in mines (bauxite, gold, iron, diamonds, metals of <\/span>base), agriculture, energy, digital technologies and <\/span>infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

The legal and fiscal framework – Guinea adheres to business law <\/span>OHADA, guaranteeing a harmonized regulatory environment. <\/span>The 2015 Investment Code provides for various tax incentives, <\/span>and the Agency for the Promotion of Private Investments (APIP) <\/span>supports investors through a one-stop\u00a0<\/span>stop<\/p>\n

Foreign investment – In addition to the mining sector, which attracts <\/span>the bulk of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), estimated at 17<\/span>% of GDP in 2024, other industries are open to capital <\/span>international, including renewable energy, transport <\/span>and telecommunications.<\/span><\/p>\n

Infrastructure and trade – The country benefits from a facade <\/span>maritime of 300 km, with the Autonomous Port of Conakry as <\/span>main commercial hub. The Transguinean railway project (500 <\/span>km), associated with the development of the Simandou mega-mining project, <\/span>represents a major step forward for transport and logistics.<\/span><\/p>\n
